Carly grew up in Bucks County surrounded by artists and blue collar workers. She started writing and making multimedia art at a young age but didn’t feel like her poetry found wings until a college course with Chris Bursk in 2000. She currently leads a twice monthly poetry workshop for adults with intellectual disabilities.
It was a lifelong goal to both publish a book of art and poetry and become Bucks County Poet Laureate. 2019 saw those accomplished. ‘Until the Roof Lifted Off’ is available from Read Furiously and Amazon.
Carly lives in Buckingham with her two children and her partner.
