The library is proud to offer many types of programs for our community. Join us!
1000 Books Before Kindergarten:
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program is a nationwide challenge that encourages parents and caregivers to regularly read aloud to their children. By reading just one book a night, families can reach the 1,000-book goal in just three years and provide their children essential early literacy skills.
NOTE: This program is currently on hold. Please stay tuned for updates.
Author Events:
Book signings and discussions with local authors or topics of community interest.
Author inquiries may be directed to the librarian at librarian@newtownlibrary.com.
Children’s Story Time:

If you are interested in getting involved with our Story Time program, please email our librarian at librarian@newtownlibrary.com.
